Sewa Cab was conceived in Feb'2017 in response to the disenchantment of drivers with the exploitative tactics of cab-aggregators. We had developed an ultra-low-cost, lean and rapidly scalable franchise model under which the drivers were to hold majority stakes in their respective cities/zones, allowing retention of most of the wealth by the drivers.
The business, however, failed to gain traction due to various reasons. That is a story we will write some day but what is exciting is that the man behind the company is committed to bringing the service back in 2019.
